Pre-School Gymnastics ( Ages 18 months to 5 years)

Maverick Preschool Gymnastics program is our preschool/developmental gymnastics program for boys and girls.  Our classes start for children 18 months to 5 years old.  We have a customized curriculum for this program that teaches all around gymnastics on the Olympic events including:  vault, bars, beam, and floor.  Our classes are designed for seamless transition and easy growth into our tumbling or Gymnastics programs.  Our program gives a child the foundation in balance, coordination, core strengthening and flexibility, and prepares them for future activities/sports.  

Our Preschool Gymnastics area is equipped with an in-ground trampoline, a 30 foot tumble track, adjustable balance beams to meet the needs at every learning stage, an adjustable bar circuit, and an extensive variety of developmental equipment and mats to assist in teaching all aspects of gymnastics.  We also have a castle to explore and an in-ground foam pit to enjoy!

Classes are 55 minutes long.  They are started off with a 10 minute dynamic warm up and stretch, followed by 10 minute rotations on our carefully planned out circuit of stations.  

Our Preschool Classes have a 5:1 child/ coach ratio.  This allows for more individualized training and close personal attention in our classes.

Our Preschool 1 Class is for 3 year olds, and our Preschool 2 Class is for 4 & 5 year olds.  After skill progressions are met in these classes, the child will be invited to a Preschool 3 Class.  This class is an advanced Preschool Class that is geared to perfecting technique and learning advanced skill for young gymnasts.  

Parent & Tot Classes (ages 18 months to 2 years) 

Our Parent & Tot Classes are geared to assist with the introduction of group settings  to your child.  Our instructor will facilitate the class with instructions and assist you in helping your child safely learn and enjoy all that Maverick Preschool Program has to offer.
